About Solar Busters Birmingham
Birmingham's Trusted Window Film & Architectural Finishes Specialists
Family-owned and operated, serving Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair Counties with premium flat-glass solutions since 2010.
Our Story
Solar Busters Birmingham was founded with a single mission: bring professional-grade architectural window film and finishes to homeowners and businesses across the greater Birmingham area. What started as a residential tinting operation has grown into a full-service architectural glass solutions company trusted by hospitals, office towers, retailers, and luxury homeowners alike.
We work exclusively with flat-glass — windows, glass partitions, storefronts, curtain walls, and facades. That focus means every installer on our team is a specialist, not a generalist. We don't do automotive tint. We do one thing and we do it exceptionally well.
From a single-pane bedroom window in Trussville to an 18,000 sq ft curtain wall in downtown Birmingham, every project receives the same meticulous preparation, precision installation, and post-install walkthrough that has earned us a 4.6-star reputation across Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair Counties.

What Our Clients Say
"Solar Busters transformed our office. The heat reduction is remarkable — our HVAC runs far less and the glare on screens is completely gone. Professional from estimate to clean-up."
"We needed HIPAA-compliant privacy film for our patient consultation rooms. They knew exactly what was required, sourced the right Avery Dennison product, and had it installed in a single day."
"Our lake house in Pell City was unbearable in summer. After Solar Busters installed the Solar Gard film, the difference was night and day. Worth every penny."
"After a break-in attempt, our insurance required safety film on all ground-floor glass. Solar Busters handled the whole job quickly and the Madico film looks completely invisible."
